Marines must maintain higher fitness standards than any other military branch.  Below you will find the current scores that you will receive for the amount of each exercise you can do.  Your goal is should at least be to achieve a 1st class PFT score.

    Jeez…I can probly get a perfect on pull-ups and crunches but what can i do to get ready for 18 min 3 mile

    im not the greatest runner but what can i really do get my endurace and speed up so when i join the Marines

    really the only way to be a better runner is to run, however if your like me and hate running, a great way to get your cardio up is to bike ride, or if you can get an eliptical that works well too, but the only way to get faster at running is to run, you can do sprints to increase speed, and then just run

    i am a 16 year old male and i play football hockey lacrosse and i box, i have great cardio very good strength as far as lifting heavy weights my bench is 245 squat is 370 and my clean is 280 i am very good at pull ups and crunches but i am 5′8 170lbs so i am not the tallest person will it be harder for me with my height?
